Forrst is now a product of ZURB.

Forrst, one of the most renowned online community for the designers and developers, is now a product of ZURB. The designing company acquired the startup today from ColourLovers.

Forrst is one place where I head to when I have got something to show to other designers across the planet. And it has always been good to me. Today, the brilliant community has been acquired by ZURB, one of the most renowned designing company.

Forrst has been having a great history so far, with a $205K funding via the 500Startups, and the social network was then acquired by the ColourLovers last year. The community was a part time project which was started by Kyle Bragger, and the project grew insanely great, getting huge support from the community.

Talking about this acquisition, ZURB says that it wants to make Forrst the foremost place for the designers and the developers for constructive feedback. Also, here’s what Matt Kelly, the Product Partner, says about this acquisition:

“A place where people can post designs and get constructive feedback from other designers. Something much more useful than ‘Cool design bro.’”

Personally, I think Forrst is in safe hands, and the community would grow even bigger with quality developers and designers. Also, there’s no clarity on the signup process that currently exists in Forrst. Head to this link to read the official statement from ZURB.
