LG today announced a new series of Google TVs that would hit the market very soon, instead of waiting for the CES 2013 to announce its new set of products. The new TVs will come packed with Google’s Smart TV platform right out of the box.
LG is doing something new. When all the consumer electronics companies are readying themselves for the CES 2013, LG is going to take the spotlight during the year end. The company is going to be announcing new products for the rest of the days left in this year, and the first being the LG TVs with Google Smart TV platform built right into it.
LG would be bringing the GA6400 series of TVs which varies in sizes from 42, 47, 50, 55 and 60-inch to the customers starting next year. And as with many of the LG TVs coming out in the market, these TVs would have a close to bezel less televisions with a thinner thickness. The TVs are reportedly carrying a dual-core CPU which would be powered by the new Google TV platform.
The company has also re-imagined the Magic Motion remote, which helps the users to control the TV. This is not all, the remote also has got a built-in mic. The mic is going to be helping the users use the Google Voice search features on the Google Platform TV.
The company has hinted that they’ve got some more to show at the CES 2013. And we’re going to be following them all along.
