Apple launched the iTunes Store in India and so many other countries recently, and it has been having a good time creating buzz around the world with it. But to the users’ surprise, the App Gifting feature was not available to all the iTunes Store customers for a while, but then, Apple activated this feature now.
And the App and Music Gifting feature is now available in the Indian iTunes App Store too. This pretty much works as the same way the other App Stores work for the Gifting feature. But we’ll take a look at how easy it is to gift an app to your friend or family member using the iTunes India Store on your iPhone or iPad or iPod Touch or even Mac or Windows.
How to Gift an App or Music or Movies from your iTunes Account?
- Open App Store and Choose the app you want to gift.
- Once the app’s detail screen gets loaded, just tap the Share icon at the top right corner of the screen (Refer Picture below)
- Now, tap on Gift
- Enter the details like Your friend’s Apple Account, and the date at which the gifting should occur and such.
- Tap on Next and you’ll see this screen
- Now, again tap on Next
- Tap on Buy Gift and the amount will be debited from your Credit Card and the gift will be delivered to the recipient on the date you specified.
