Founder of Nest and former Apple executive Tony Fadell has been pretty vocal about his views on Apple ex-employee Scott Forstall. He considers Forstall’s departure a bit of a self-inflicted wound.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Tony Fadell said that “Scott got what he deserved” when asked about his time with the iOS head. Furthermore when asked about how Apple would be without Scott Forstall here’s what Fadell said:
I think Apple’s in a great place. Actually if you’ve read some of the reports you know that people were cheering in Cupertino when that event happened. And so I think Apple’s in a great space, it has great products and you know that there are other great people in the company.
People inside Apple clearly had negative feelings towards Forstall and Fadell just gave us an idea about the extent. Fadell also mentioned that with Forstall gone out of the way Apple’s software design is now in the “good hands” of Sir Jonathan Ive.
