Apple might be owning the App Store, but its Google that’s needing some developers for its iOS development team. The company today rolled out an ad campaign, which insists the developers to Do what is really matters.
This is something which is really different right? Google, doing an ad campaign for iOS developers. For sure, Sparrow’s acquisition would have earned Google some of the best iOS developers, but in their own style. But now, looks like Google is going to be doing something for the iOS devices competing with Apple’s stock apps? We’re not clear.
Google has put up a detailed page, which details the work culture for iOS dev team at Google. Talking about the iOS team at Google, Ken from Google’s Mobile Apps team reveals:
“We are always working on ideas to push the envelope on mobile search, and we collaborate closely with Google Web Search engineers to implement new features.”
“It’s fun. People have misconception that we just copy and paste existing Google products to the iOS platform. But we have a lot of freedom and try to innovate beyond anything that Google’s done so far,”
Here’s the video of the ad campaign that Google is running on various sites. But sorry, we don’t have ads on our site, and you’ll not be able to witness it:
