Windows Phone 7.8 and Nokia Lumia 510 Revealed in Video

Windows Phone 7.8 finally makes an unofficial public appearance. The latest update brings improved tiled interface, tile resizability and much more.

Tango (Windows Phone 7.8) build is in Chinese so much of the items in the Settings menu cannot be interpreted very well. The video demonstrates the improved tiled interface that enhances the ability to resize and rearrange live tiles. We don’t get to see a lot of the Nokia Lumia 510 but it appears to handle the OS. The phone is expected to have low tech specifications, believed to be clocked at 1GHz.

Windows Phone 7.8 is essentially a consolation for all those early Mango (Windows Phone 7.5) adopters who won’t get a taste of Windows Phone 8. The update is essentially aimed at the Asian markets and is slotted to release by year’s end.
