Motorola shuts off its Indian website to streamline their business and support systems.

Google’s $12.5 billion acquisition Motorola Mobility have pulled the plug on their dedicated website of India.

Motorola doesn’t seem to be having a good time as they just recently closed 94 offices across the world and cut off 20% of its workforce. In an effort to ‘streamline’ their business they are shutting down their business here in India.

The local support site is still present and Motorola will continue to provide support for existing devices. The site now displays a message concerning the same.

We are streamlining our business and support systems,
and unfortunately, we’ll no longer have a dedicated website
for India.

Your local support site will remain open well into the future,
and we’ll continue to provide support for our existing products.

It’s tough being Motorola at present as the mobile manufacturer continues to pull the plug on several markets in a similar fashion having lost it’s edge to the likes of Samsung, HTC and Sony.
