Chennai-based entrepreneurs Girish Ramdas and Vijayakumar Radhakrishnan can pat themselves as they find Magzter, an online magazine store, to be the top grossing app on the App Store (iPad).
Popular titles such as Angry Birds, NY Times for iPad, Clash of Clans and Frontline Commando have been over taken as Magzter stands on top of a huge mountain of iPad apps. The 17 month old app contains a formidable collection of more than 1500 magazines in it’s store with as many as 400 being of Indian origin. The app is also available on Android and Windows Phone as well and a purchase carried out on any one platform is universal in nature.
The magazine has seen a significant increase in popularity as they introduced an array of nifty sharing features. The product has 4.5 million users around the globe and continues to add more.
