iPhone 5 gets a nod by Chinese regulatory body

The iPhone 5 has gained regulatory approval by China Telecom Corp. and is on it’s way for the December release target promised by Tim Cook at the last earnings call.

The iPhone 5 has already passed two of the required certifications and could be finding it’s way to store shelves pretty soon. China Telecom began taking orders on Sunday giving a December timeframe to it’s customers. The timing couldn’t be better as Apple has finally begun to cope up with supply demands and have improved shipping periods while clearing up backlog.

The China’s phone market is just immense. No doubt Apple wants to take a piece of this pie.
