Here’s a quick tutorial on how to share a web link directly using the Facebook App for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or any Android device.
Facebook for iPhone or iPad is the most used interface for the world’s largest and most favorite social network. But then, a lot of Facebook users would love to share links to their friends. Until recently, there was not much clarity about sharing a web link using the Facebook for iPhone or iPad or even for Android.
While sharing links on the Facebook.com is easy, many users are not aware of the feature that Facebook brought to the mobile apps recently. So I thought I would make a quick tutorial on how you could share links directly from your Facebook mobile application without a glitch.
Remember that I’m using an iPhone to explain this feature. But basic features like copying links and such would be constant for both Android and iOS.
How to share links directly from Facebook for iPhone or iPad?
- Copy the link you’d love to share. Either via Mobile Safari or via Google Chrome for Android.
- Now that you have the link, Open the Facebook app, and just compose a new status message.
- Now, Paste the link, and press the Space Bar on the On-Screen keyboard.
- After a few seconds, you’ll find the link’s title, description and image below your status message.
- Delete the link which you pasted if you’d like to have it near.
- And… That’s it. You’re done. Now tap Share.
Simple. Isn’t it?
