You can actually add HTML signatures, including images, styled text or even hyper links on your iOS device with ease.
iOS 6 has got full support for adding images, text links, and almost all varieties of HTML signatures to new email messages. This is a bit of improvement when compared to the previous versions of iOS. In this tutorial, we’re going to send an email to ourselves from desktop computer, and then use Copy-Paste method to use HTML signatures on your iOS device.
While a lot of users are proud to leave the default iOS signature, some business users would want to change their signatures to a different one. In that case, this tutorial will be of much help. Let’s now take a look at how to add HTML signatures just like you do on your desktop email client.
How to set image, text links, styles text and HTML content as your signature?
- Open your email inbox from the Web. Let’s take the case of Gmail here.
- Now, Compose a new email message, and place all that you need for your signature in that email message.
- Send this email message to your mailbox, which is configured on the iPhone or iPad.
- Now, take out your iOS device, and open up the Mail app
- Copy the contents of the email which you sent it to yourself in Step-2.
- Now, Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature.
- Select all, and paste the contents which you recently copied from Step-5.
- And, that’s it. You’re actually done.
This is probably the easiest way you could add HTML signatures to your iOS mail. Hope this helps. Here’s mine:
