Jensen Harris, the Director of Program Management for Windows User Experience team gives a rare peek at how the Windows 8 evolved overtime at Microsoft during UX Week 2012, which happened in San Francisco.
We usually don’t get a preview at how the Windows 8 evolved overtime during its development and how different it performed during the development. Ofcourse, the production version would have seen a lot of changes than the features which were initially planned. But this time around, Jensen Harris has revealed some information about how the Windows 8 originally worked and looked before it evolved into the final production version which the customers are using currently.
It was during the UX Week 2012 that Jensen gave a preview of the OS’ development progress and how different it behaved in the final production version. He also reveals the idea behind bringing the new look that Windows 8 has. Jensen also exposes some of the screenshots which he has archived from his earlier presentations from 2010.
