iOS 6 has been in the public for a while, and today, Apple pushed out a OTA update to the devices including the latest iPhone 5 to fix some major bugs which was floating around in the OS.
iOS 6 has been there for a while with the end-users, and there has been some bad bugs existing in the system, like the WiFi speed bug in iPhone 5, WiFi connectivity issue and some more bugs. And today, Apple issued an update to the iOS systems, across the world over-the-air, and the update seems to be fixing some annoying bugs.
Here’s the complete changelog for the iOS 6.0.1:
- Fixes a bug that prevents iPhone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air
- Fixes a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed across the keyboard
- Fixes an issue that could cause camera flash to not go off
- Improves reliability of iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation) when connected to encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks
- Resolves an issue that prevents iPhone from using the cellular network in some instances
- Consolidated the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match
- Fixes a Passcode Lock bug which sometimes allowed access to Passbook pass details from lock screen
- Fixes a bug affecting Exchange meetings
