“Apple is making a donation of $2.5M to American Red Cross” – Tim Cook

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple has sent an email to his employees reporting that the company is donating a whooping $2.5 million to support Hurricane Sandy relief to American Red Cross.

Apple’s has been donating some huge amounts to charity under Tim Cook, and now, the company has donated $2.5M to American Red Cross to support the Hurricane Sandy relief. Apple also helped people donate via iTunes, where the company setup a platform to send donations from the users across the world, directly to support the Hurricane Sandy relief activities.
