Here’s how to add Twitter username and profile picture for your friends in your contact list automatically on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
Mountain Lion brought in a lot of Social Integration across the entire operating system and also gave users easy access to update their friends information to be updated automatically without pain. One such feature is the ability to add a users’ profile picture and Twitter username automatically to the contacts on the system.
This feature works by sending the contact meta data to the servers, and matches the data with that of the Twitter’s data and then updates the information accordingly. You will have to explicitly grant access to your contacts to do this. Let’s now take a look at how we can do this on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
