Disney acquires Lucasfilm. Announces plans for ‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ for 2015.

This one is for the Star Wars fans. Disney has announced its plans for the acquisition of Lucasfilm, which has been making the most famous movie, Star Wars. This is not all, the Star Wars episode 7 will be out by 2015, according to Disney.

Star Wars is never stopping. Disney has announced its plans for acquiring Lucasfilm, which is famous for making the Star Wars movies, and has promised that the Star Wars Episode 7 would be out by 2015. But the plans for other Episodes are also concrete, but we’re not sure about the release dates.

Now that it is exciting for the Star Wars fans, let’s now get talking about the money that went into acquiring the company. Disney is acquiring Lucasfilm via cash and stock. While $4.05 billion will go in cash for purchasing the company, the remaining 40 million will be via stocks.

Talking about the acquisition, Lucas said:

“It’s now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers,”
