Airtel, one of India’s leading mobile service provider has started to take the pre-orders for the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 with 16GB model costs around Rs. 45,000.
We knew it was coming, and now, its almost here. The much awaited iPhone 5 is launching in India sometime next week, and the device is now up for pre-order at the Airtel.in website. The device costs Rs. 45,000, a price that equals the price of the one in the UK for the 16 GB model.
The device is expected to ship from Airtel in the next 16 – 17 days, and right now, only the black version of the device is available for pre-orders. We’re expecting the white models to be available for pre-order in sometime, and we will keep you posted. The new iPhone 5 is Apple’s much hyped device in its history, and even though the device did not get huge reviews when the device launched, the reviews turned upside down when the people actually got their hands-on with the device.
