Nokia has officially unveiled the Lumia 820 Windows Phone, with 4.3-inch OLED display, replaceable covers, 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor with a GB of RAM.
Its finally here, the Nokia Lumia 820, the much awaited Windows Phone 8 device with a 8-megapixel camera (Yes! No PureView), a 1.5GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM running the latest Windows Phone 8. The device supports 8GB of internal storage and also includes support for external microSD cards. This is not the flagship phone that Nokia and Microsoft has unveiled today, but this is a lesser configured version of the company’s Nokia Lumia 920.
Nokia has also partnered with Synaptics for bringing in touch enabled gloves’, which would detect touches from fingernails and the gloves on the device. The availability of the device is still unknown. We’ve reached out to a reliable source to check when the device would be available to the market.
Th Lumia 820 is available in yellow, cyan, purple, red, grey, white, and black. The device can be charged wirelessly using the special adopter the device would come with. And also, the Lumia 820 is NFC enabled.
