While the company is gearing up to unveil a slew of devices at a special event on September 5th, a new leak confirms that the company’s Lumia 920 will indeed have wireless charging. And this would be the first device to bring wireless charging to the masses on a smartphone.
The countdown for the big day has started for Nokia and Microsoft. But then, there have been a lot of leaks about the upcoming leaks from various sources, confirming that Nokia would indeed reveal Lumia 920 handset with Wireless charging and also with some more impressive configuration running Windows Phone 8. Nokia has been pushing hard to get their devices to as many hands as possible, with Microsoft backing them up.
The Lumia 920 is also expected to come with a 32GB storage option with a GB of RAM on 1.5GHz dual-core processor, running Windows Phone 8. Also, the device is expected to have a 8-megapixel camera with a 4.5-inch HD display. Wireless charging has been one of the features that is yet to hit the masses for the smartphones, but then it would now (probably) be Nokia which would be bringing the technology to the users with Nokia Lumia 920.
