Apple just announced the new iTunes 11 app for Mac and Windows, with a completely redesigned interface, and some pretty neat features added to the app.
Apple showcased a new version of iTunes, that has been completely rewritten from the scratch, sporting a new UI and other feature improvements. The new iTunes app comes with a cool mini bar, which brings in a lot of features like search, and other features. The app has an edge-to-edge design, making it sleek and more usable than ever before.
Update: iTunes 11 is now available. And here are the direct links.
There are also some cool new iCloud features built right into the iTunes 11. Also coming with this update is the ability to create playlists with just a simple drag and drop mechanism. The iTunes 11 will be available for download for Windows and Mac this October.
There are also some deeper Facebook integration into the iTunes App Store, with Apple giving the ability of the user to share his purchases, right from books to songs to apps, to his friends via Facebook or Twitter.
The download links for iTunes 11 will be available here automatically when the app is out for the public.
