iOS 6, which launched to the public a day back has seen a huge spike in its adoption rate by the iOS device users. The new operating system for Apple mobile devices has seen a 15 percent adoption rate in just 24 hours after launch, making it the fastest mobile OS adoption rate.

iOS 6 came out in style yesterday, and it has clearly won the hearts of a lot of the Apple mobile device users across the world. The new OS, which has over 200 new user features, which includes a new maps application and much more interesting feature improvements, is said to have been running on 15 percent of the overall Apple mobile devices. The data comes from one of the famous ad provider, Chitika, which acquires these data from a lot of other third party firms.

The ad company's statistics reveal that this version of iOS is probably the fastest adopted mobile operating system in the history. Comparing it with it's rival, Android's Jelly Bean ran on 1.2 percent of the mobile devices after 14 days from its launch. But of course, Android has its own downside in bringing a universal update system.

Now that the iPhone 5 is also a huge success, the company is expected to do a lot more in the coming months, and the iOS is going to attract a lot of new customers in the near future.
