Instagram is not letter-boxed on iPhone 5 anymore. Gets updated for iPhone 5 and iOS 6

Facebook acquired Instagram has been updated with support for iPhone 5 and iOS 6 support, along with some essential bug fixes for the registration flow.

Instagram has got its own addicts across the world, and the app has been hugely popular for so long now. The photo sharing social network was recently acquired by Facebook for a whooping amount and the Facebook's CEO, Mark Zukerberg revealed that the Instagram will remain as a separate app and will not be merging with the social network.

And the young CEO has been making up with his promise, and Instagram is still considered as a separate app under Facebook, getting regular updates ever since it's acquisition. Today, the app has received it's update with the support for the latest iPhone from Apple and some more bug fixes.

Here's the change log for this update:

– iOS 6 and iPhone 5 compatible

– Improved password recovery

– Redesigned registration flow

If you have an iPhone 5 with you, or if you are one among those who run iOS 6, and love Instagram, is time to grab this update.
