Its Official. Google is all set to launch turn-by-turn navigation in India for Android devices anytime today!
Google has been providing bus and public transport routes for the Indian users already, but now, the company is coming out with Voice based turn-by-turn navigation in India. There were very few services that was providing such a voice based turn-by-turn GPS navigation, but now, this would be a major blow for the country, which has a lot of Android users.
The update would be available via Google Maps app for Android, and the date at which the update would be available today. Google has teased this navigation system in a video, which you can watch below. Moreover, this would be the biggest ever update for Google Maps in India, and I’m sure a lot of Android users would be more than happy to welcome this feature addition.
The new service would be available for free to all the Android users, blowing away the services like MapMyIndia and TomTom which was offering such a kind of service, which came at a very high cost, that many was not able to afford for.
