Exclusive: AT&T and Verizon upgrading their 4G networks for iPhone 5

We just got a tip from a reliable source from these networks that the company is working on upgrading their mobile networks for the next version of iPhone 5, and the upgrade is expected to complete before September 26th.

By this time, we all know that the next generation iPhone is coming out this week, at the special media conference Apple has called for. We quickly checked with one of our insiders, and they say that the iPhone 5 would be a world compatible 4G LTE device, and this has caused the major networks in the US, who provide 4G LTE service to tweak their network a bit to make it compatible with the device.

Both AT&T and Verizon are working on their network upgrades, and are expected to complete the upgrade by 26th of September. These insider did not reveal any more information about the next iPhone and also what AT&T and Verizon is planning for the new iPhone. And also, it is expected that AT&T would unveil some new iPhone 5 specific data plans when the device is out in the market. And as WSJ states, the device would be a global LTE device.

With this hint, we think the device would start shipping to the customers on September 26th? Or may be earlier? We’ll keep you posted.
