Yahoo! Open Hack India 2012 is happening this weekend, and you can meet The 4Cast team there at the venue!
It’s that time of the year again! The hackers and developers from across the country are busy planning for this year’s Yahoo! Open Hack India 2012, which is happening in Bangalore this weekend at the Sheraton Hotel.
This is Yahoo!’s fifth installment of Open Hack in India, and this event, has gained all the attention it needs in the past few years. Notably, this is probably the largest hacking event that’s happening in India, every year. The developers from all over the country mark their calendars every year, to attend, and hack stuff out of them at Yahoo! Open Hack India.
The Open Hack would begin at 08:30 AM IST on August 11th, and there’d be a series of tech talks and workshops for the attendees who’ve registered for the tech talks. And then, later that day comes the big event. The hackathon. The clock would start counting back from 24:00:00 to 00:00:00, and the developers are going to be coding using some of the popular open web technologies and tools like YUI, YQL and Mojito.
