The Wall Street Journal reports that Spotify is launching into Canada, South America and some more countries in Asia pretty soon!

After expanding its music streaming service to places like Australia and new Zealand, Spotify is looking to launch its service in some more countries this year. And now, Spotify has confirmed The Wall Street Journal that they’re expanding their service to some more territories this year. The service is launching in Canada first, and then it would be expanding to some of the countries in Asia and also in South America.

It would be exciting to see the service go global. And that too with their free radio service, Spotify would be an instant hit in a lot of these countries. Currently Spotify is said to have over 15 million active users, and also more than 4 million premium users. With the expansion, the user base is expected to grow exponentially.
