Samsung has launched its new Android 4.0 tablet Galaxy Note 800 (also called Galaxy Note 10.1) in India today. The tablet, along with the S-Pen, comes for a price of Rs. 39,900. Under the hood, there is a 2 GB RAM, 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor. Galaxy Note 800 features a 10.1-inch (1280×800) TFT screen, a 5 MP rear camera and a 1.9 MP front facing camera. There is 16 GB of on-board storage, which can be expanded upto 32 GB using a micro SD card. Other features include connectivity options – Bluetooth, WiFi, and 3G.
The Note 800 is yet another TouchWiz device which seeks to gain from S-Pen optimized apps. Galaxy 10.1, and Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy Note II at its Unpacked Event, later this month.
