Microsoft Windows 8 reaches the RTM milestone! Developers to get RTM seed on Aug. 15th!

Microsoft has finally done with its development of Windows 8. The long awaited OS, has now reached the RTM status and the first seed will be available for the developers on August 15th via MSDN.

Microsoft has been working so hard to bring this OS to reality, and now, the entirely thought-out OS with Metro UI is now ready to be shipped. Microsoft today announced that they’ve finished developing the Windows 8 and a RTM seed will be available to the developers starting August 15th via the MSDN.

The current and the final build is 9200.16384.win8_rtm.120725-1247, and the Volume License customers would get the RTM build on August 16th! But wait, the company is still skeptical about its performance, and Steven Sinofsky, who manages the Windows division at Microsoft says that the OS will still be under observation until it reaches the public.

So, its August 15th for the developers, and October 26th for the end-users! Mark your dates fellas!
