LinkedIn today revealed in today’s earnings call that the latest user data breach that hit the company costed around $1million for the company!
LinkedIn had a really bad time recently, losing a lot of user data and credential, and the situation seemed to have gone bad when the company tried to recover the data back. In the recent earnings call, the largest professional social network’s CFO, Mr. Steve Sordello said that they’ve spent over $1 million in data recovery.
Sordello also revealed that they have been working so hard to improve the security at the backend, and the company has projected that they’d be spending somewhere between $2 million to $3 million to have their security system intact. The recent leak has really costed some hefty amount to the company, and it is really nice to see that they’re again investing some huge amount to have their security system tight in the future.
