Apple and Samsung’s CEOs met today for one last time to resolve the on-going patent case under the Judge Lucy Koh. But then, the talks have failed to find any resolution between the two companies.
We all know by this time that the final hearing for the patent dispute between Samsung and Apple is over. But then, before the judge goes ahead with the final result, she wanted the CEOs of these two companies to meet and resolve by themselves. But then, reports are coming in that the talks have failed once again.
Samsung’s attorney, Kevin Johnson said that the meeting happened, but ended with no resolution for the dispute. The Verge has gathered this news from some source that we’re not aware of, and this definitely puts some huge pressure on the Judge Lucy Koh again.
According to The Verge:
“We’d heard rumors that the CEOs of Apple and Samsung were getting together today for one last court-mandated meeting, but their discussion proved unfruitful. Samsung attorney Kevin Johnson just told Judge Lucy Koh that “The CEOs did speak…There was no resolution.”
Its now with the juries to decide the resolution for one of technology’s biggest patent dispute. The closing arguments for the dispute are set for tomorrow, and the jury would begin their work starting Wednesday. So the fate of this case would be decided within this month.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed now. And I personally wish that the jury would stay true to their decision.
