Yahoo!’s next CEO is Google’s Marissa Mayer!

Google has lost its employee number 20, Marissa Mayer, to Yahoo! as the company appointed her as the new CEO. Marissa Mayer has been with Google for over 13 years, and she has played an important role in Google Maps and other important products of the company.

At the wake of a new day, Google has lost one of its employees to its competitor, Yahoo! Marissa Mayer will now play the role of CEO for the entire Yahoo! and is expected to do some great work for Google’s Competitor! Marissa is considered to be in the Steve Jobs situation, just like how Steve Jobs bought Apple back on track when he came back to the company after a decade. We’ll just have to wait and see what she has to do with Yahoo! as soon as she takes the position this Tuesday!

So, Who is Marissa Mayer?

Marissa Mayer was Google’s first female hire and also, she is the 20th employee of the search giant! She has been with the company for a very long time now, and she has been an integral part of building the location based services at Google. She was always considered as a top executive employee of the company ever since she started leading Google’s Projects.

Marissa Mayer was responsible for the launch of Google’s products like Gmail, Google Maps, iGoogle and much more.  She has been handling a lot of managers under her as soon as she took the position as Video President of Local, Maps and Location Services.
