Twitter recently released a major new update for their Search feature and the company has been concentrating to expand their reach to all the users across various mobile platforms. In the move, Twitter has released an app for the Symbian S40 devices which enable users to tweet, and access Twitter on the go.
We are living in an era where almost all the feature phones have been forgotten, and where people expect their devices to have WiFi and other connectivity modules on their devices. But there are a lot of customers who own feature phones, and also access the interview through them. Understanding this, Twitter has moved on to provide a dedicated app for the feature phones like those of the S40 devices, to give access to the users using the app.
There are very limited feature phones that are coming out in the market today, but Nokia is the one who has stepped out to make a series of feature phones that have becomes quickly popular in countries like India. Nokia launched the Asha series devices to the public at MWC this year.
