Sparrow for Mac updated with Retina Display support and native Mountain Lion Notification Support!

Sparrow, the sleekest email client for the Mac has now been updated with Retina Display support and also native Notification Center support for Mountain Lion. The update is now available in the App Store for free to all the existing users.

Sparrow has been an amazing email client, showcasing how simple a email client can be on a Mac. The app has been hugely popular and has gained all the attention it needed. But with the launch of Mountain Lion and the new Retina MacBook Pro, the users were skeptical about the apps update to these latest unveilings from Apple. The developers were quick in acting to this, and they’ve now added support for Retina Display and also the app is now completely compatible with Mountain Lion and its new Notification Center support.

Apple’s Mountain Lion is yet to hit the public, and the OS is currently in Gold Master status. The next version of Mac OS would ship this month, and it comes with a lot of new features. Despite the fact that Mountain Lion is yet to hit the public, Sparrow has got its updates. Here’s a screenshot of the new Notification Center support for Sparrow!

You can get the update via Mac App Store.
