Microsoft has officially confirmed that they are shipping the Microsoft Windows 8 to the general public on October 26th! And with the launch of Windows 8, the Microsoft Surface tablet is also expected to come out!
Microsoft has been seeding the developer builds of Windows 8 to the public for sometime now, and today, the company confirmed that they are bringing in Windows 8 to the end-users on October 26th. We’re sure that Microsoft will hold some event to get the OS out to the public.
Microsoft recently revealed the developer preview of Office 2013, which came with some metro toasted UI and also with deeper Skype and SkyDrive syncing last week. The Windows 8 upgrade program is already in progress and the users can upgrade their Windows Vista or Windows 7 PC directly to Windows 8 for $39.99, when the OS comes out. The upgrade pricing mentioned above is for the digital upgrade process, but Microsoft would be charging $69.99 for purchasing a copy of Windows 8 from the Stores across the world.
