Microsoft announces the new hardware set for Windows 8! [Roundup]

For all those who’re expecting more from Microsoft about their “reimagined-from-the-chipset-to-the-user- experience” quote during the Windows 8 launch, here’s something interesting. Microsoft has announced a series of Windows 8 centric hardware products that are meant to go along with the metro style UI of Windows 8.

Here’s a quick round-up of the products that Microsoft is bringing to the market this year.

Wedge Touch Mouse:

With an estimated retail price of USD 69.95, this is a really cool and little gadget that acts and works as a mouse. Free from cables and USB transceivers, this Bluetooth enabled device works on the BlueTrack Technology, enabling you to work on virtually on any surface! Also, to save battery, this tiny mouse includes a Backpack Mode to sleep along with the PC or device it is connected to!

 

Wedge Mobile Keyboard:

This is an ultra-slim, slick, extremely light-weight keyboard, especially designed for tablets, Microsoft Surface to be precise. Again, it connects seamlessly via Bluetooth usint BlueTrack. The rubber cover-cum-stand that comes along is a pretty cool add for this little gadget! For USD 79.95, this device gives you a light weighted, full-size keyboard comfort, great portability and other older features like Windows Hot Keys and other media keys.

Sculpt Touch Keyboard:

Mobility + Comfort + Productivity.. And that gives you the new Sculpt Touch Keyboard! With Microsoft’s cool Comfort Curve Design, battery-saving sleep modes, bluetooth connectivity and a very light weight and high quality travel design, this device would be your great travel companion that comes along for around USD 49.95.

Touch Mouse:

With newly updated gesture settings for Windows 8 to easily navigate through the Metro UI, this little bluetooth connected mouse has a four-way scroll strip, letting to swipe all four ways. One finger swipes let you move side-wise or up and down. Two-finger swipes let you manage apps and three-finger swipes allows you to zoom in and out. Thumb gestures are for navigating within apps. And all these and more comes for USD 79.95! This is probably Microsoft’s reply to Apple’s Magic Mouse!

 

So, When can I get these?
