Microsoft Announces plans for Windows 8 Release! Teases details about Office 15!

Microsoft today announced that the company will release the Windows 8 RTM in August and the final version will go on sale this October. Besides this, Microsoft’s CEO, Steve Ballmer also teased that he is running Office 15 and Windows 8 all day, and he is completely in love with it!

Microsoft is present at Worldwide Partners Conference today, and the company is making some announcements on stage. The company revealed that they are bringing Windows 8 RTM (Release To Manufacturing) in August and the final version, which will start shipping to customers, ail be out this October. Microsoft’s Reller said that the company has tied up with a lot of OEM partners to get Windows 8 to the masses as soon as it ships in October.

Microsoft has been testing Windows 8 with the customers for sometime now, and the company has priced that online upgrade from Windows XP or Windows Vista or Windows 7 to Windows 8 at $39.99 and for the customers who are willing to get a copy of Windows 8 from the stores would be charged at $69.99. The Windows 8 is one of the major milestones for the company, since they have set out to change the entire way people interact with Windows machines, ever since the first version launched. Today, Microsoft revealed that some of the major OEM makers like Dell, HP and Lenovo are all set to launch the Windows 8 AIOs and laptops as soon as its out in the market.

But Steve Ballmer, had something exciting to talk about today. He revealed:

“I’m running Office 15 and Windows 8 all day, every day. I’m completely in love.”

He also added that they will reveal some more information after Windows 8 launched to the public in October. As usual, we’ll keep this news covered as soon as we get some more information!
