LG Launched Optimus 4X HD and three new L Series Android Smartphones in India!

LG India has launched some great new phones for the Indian market today. The company launched the LG Optimus 4X HD, Optimus L3, L5 and L7 devices, priced at Rs. 34,990, Rs. 8,895, Rs. 13,199 and Rs. 19,900 respectively!

LG has been making some serious progress in the mobile phone industry in India, and now, the company has launched some great smartphones powered by Android, which brings in a lot of new features, including the new LG UI 3.0, which is a great new version of their smartphone interface. Let’s now take a quick look at what LG has in their bags for us at the special media event the company had:

LG Optimus 4X HD

This was the king of all the smartphones that were launched today. The device sports a Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor running Ice Cream Sandwich in them. The screaming processor is backed up by a 1GB RAM, which makes us feel like we don’t have any glitch in the performance. The device is really smooth in hands. Above all, the device is featuring a 2150 mAh batter, and it also features a L Style, which LG calls it is a great new design technique, that makes the mobile feel good when held in the hands of the customer. Forget not, the device is just 8.9mm thin and weights not more than what Galaxy S III weighs!

Mumbai, July 19th, 2012: LG Electronics, a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications, today announced the launch of their 4 new smartphones in India- LG L series (L7, L5 and L3) and LG 4X HD Quad core. These sleek hi-tech phones run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, except for L3 which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

These high-end phones launched by LG are a seamless amalgamation of style and technology.

The quad-core featuring720p display-flashing LG Optimus 4X HD is a wonderful addition to LG’s mobile family. This 4.7 inch True HD IPS display on the Optimus 4X HD offers a superior high-clarity viewing experience with superb resolution of 1280×720. The phone has a 2150mAh battery, which is the largest amongst quad core smartphones.

The core essence of L style features a timeless design with defined details, which further differentiates LG mobiles from its competition. L-Style’s design philosophy comprises of five elements – Modern Square Style for a comfortable grip, Floating Mass technology for a slimmer look, seamless layout, harmonized design contrast and sensuous slim shape.

LG Optimus 4X HD boasts of a 1.5GHz quad core plus 1 processor, NVIDIA Tegra3 which delivers unparalleled speed. When maximum power is needed, Tegra3 automatically activates all four cores, but when less power is required, it defaults to the fifth battery-saver core.

LG Optimus L3, L5 and L7 Smartphones

Along with the Optimus 4X HD, the company also launched three new L Series devices in the country. The LG Optimus L3 is probably the entry level device with a 3.2-inches display with 3-megapixel camera, and a 800MHz processor, which is priced at Rs. 8,895.

The L5 is another device LG launched. The device sports a 4-inch HVGA display running on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, which is backed up by a 800MHz processor. The L5 also has a 5-megapixel camera in it, which is pretty good compared to its competitors. The device is priced at Rs. 13,199 in India.

The last in the L Series which was launched today was the L7 device. This is the high-end device in the L Series of smartphones from LG. The device sports a 1GHz Processor, a 5-megapixel camera and a 4GB Internal Storage space. Also comes with this device is the Androind 4.0 and LG has also put up their own LG Optimus UI 3.0 on top of these three devices.
