Google restores major Google Talk server outage! Service still under investigation!

Recently, You might have noticed that your GTalk was not available for chat. The company has now restored the service back up online. The Google App Status Dashboard is currently confirming that the service is now available for all!

Google Talk users were able to connect to the Account but unable to connect with the Chats recently and the users were getting some serious error messages like “unexpected behavior” ,even they are logged in Google Mail. We reached to Google via the App Status Dashboard and expecting to see some update in the service status since at around 9.50AM we got no update in Google Chat Status. After many hours of serious outage, they said they are looking into the issue with the service and the service might not be available to lot of users. After a couple of hours we are waiting for some update and the result turned out to be Positive .

This was the first major outage the service has had since its launch. And the company was quick enough to solve this issue pretty quick. We’ve reached out to Google for the exact cause for this outage, which we did not like, and we’ll keep you posted about the root cause for this outage as soon as we get some information from the company!
