Google has open sourced the code for their latest version of Android, Jelly Bean today for the developers and other enthusiasts, who tend to play with the code.
Google launched the next major version of Android at Google I/O 2012 this year, and the company has already open sourced the code of the latest mobile operating system today. Jean-Baptiste Queru from Google announced this news on their official Android Google Groups today, and promised that the new OS will make the clients smaller and faster to sync.
This is not all, the proprietary binaries for Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus are now available for download. And also, Nexus S and Xoom devices’ binaries are also coming out too soon! The updates would be available over the air for these devices.
