Just like how Facebook lets your friends wish you on your Birthday, Google+ has also started rolling out this feature to its users slowly!
Facebook’s birthday wishes are always special to any of us, and now, Google is trying to bring this to the Google+, letting your friends wish you on your birthday! Moreover, Google also says us to check the Google’s homepage on your birthday for a pleasant surprise! The company has also put a support article explaining this:
When you sign up for Google+, we’ll ask you to provide your birthday so that we can provide you with features like age-appropriate settings when you use Google services and personalized content. If you already have a birthday associated with your Google account, you won’t be prompted to enter your birthday. By default, your birthday (day and month only) will be visible to people in your circles. You can always edit who can see it on your profile.
I need to wait till the year end to check what surprise Google has for me! But if you are one of those who’s birthday falls today or tomorrow, let us know what surprise you got from Google, from their homepage! The social network from Google completed its first birthday last month, and we’re still skeptical about its competition with Facebook!
