Georgia Tech develops a vibrating glove that teaches piano to medicate people with SCI!

So, they’re calling it MMT, which is abbreviated as Mobile Music Touch, which is a glove, that improves the sensation of those who are experiencing SCI (Spinal Cord Injuries).

Georgia Tech has been doing a lot of research that could make mankind’s life easier. But here’s something interesting the researchers are working on. The researchers are keen in resolving the people with SCIs and improve their surgical methods. This wearable gadget looks like the one that appeared in the latest Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and this little thing does a lot! Let’s take a look at this quickly!

What is this ?

The researchers at Georgia Tech have recently created the wireless, ‘Musical Glove’, that improves sensation with the people who are paralyzed with Spinal Cord Injuries(SCI). The one with SCI will have to wear this gear in his hand, and the device would vibrate while it teaches you keyboard classes. Is’t it Cool ?

While this looks cool, the results from the people who experienced this gadget seem to be feeling a lot better after playing this keyboard. Georgia Tech Researches and Atlanta Shepard Center did a complete Research on SCI and how it could be solved, and a Ph.D. graduate, Tanya Markow, who has been leading this project seems to be happy about the improvement in their Study.

Here’s a video demo of this wearable gadget:
