They call the Facebook Application, “My Country, My Cheer”, which lets people to cheer for their country on Facebook.
The app is country restricted, and is available only for certain countries. The app lets the users support their athletes, which would add to the number of supporters for the athlete. The app also gives you all the detailed schedule of the entire Olympics and the company is also giving away some prizes for the users of that Application.

Visitors to ESPN STAR Sports’ Facebook page are able to navigate to the “My Country, My Cheer” application, where they will land on their country page, which features a visual made up of ‘pixels’. There, they can pick one of the pixels from the visual on which they can post their well-wishes. From there, the pixel will display the user’s Facebook profile picture within the visual itself. Users can also share their cheers on their individual Facebook walls, invite their friends to participate, and also tweet about it.
Not only will the “My Country, My Cheer” application gives supporters the chance to show their support for their athletes and teams, they can also win exclusive ESPN STAR Sports London 2012 prizes for writing the most creative and passionate cheer. Official London 2012 premiums from ESPN STAR Sports include exclusive Games lapel pins, caps, t-shirts and more. Winners will be announced daily and will be notified via email.
