‘Type Cover’ is a tactile keyboard for Microsoft Surface Tablet!

Along with the Microsoft Surface Tablet, which got out today, the company also unveiled a new Type Cover, which is a full tactile keyboard for the new tablet.

It was rather a big day for Microsoft today, as the company unveiled their new line of Surface tablets at the special event in Los Angeles. And as promised by Microsoft, the event had some big announcements, starting with the Microsoft Surface tablet. The Surface tablets has two variants, one being the fully desktop class tablet which could run Windows 8, and the other is the Windows RT tablet running on ARM. But wait, what about the new accessories that might come out? Well, Microsoft already has one for us. It is the keyboard with a tactile keyboards, which the company calls, the Touch Cover.

The keyboard is made up of a tactile material, which feels good when touched, and also, it is touch capable, which can sense the touch of buttons and other clickable elements. Steven Sinofsky unveiled this keyboard, and told that these would be available along with the Surface tablet. So, the fans would have to wait a bit longer to get their hands-on with these keyboards.

Talking about the build, the keyboard looks sturdy and in one single look, you can say that you could wipe away the dust that would get settled on the gadget. Also, with tactile features, the keyboard does feel good in the hands, when touched. Wait, there’s more, Microsoft has also unveiled a new multi-touch capable keyboard with Touchpad as a new Surface accessory! Stay tuned for more!
