Toshiba Satellite U845 Ultrabook to go on sale from June 24th starting at $699!

Toshiba not only teased their line-up of concept computers at Computex, but also released a new Ultrabook with some good configuration today. Toshiba Satellite U845 (I wonder where they get these names from) is an Ultrabook from the company featuring a Core i3 Sandy Bridge processor in it and a Hybrid storage.

The company is aiming at the entry-level ultrabook seekers in the market and they have priced this ultrabook at just $699 for the lower end model. The device comes with a 500GB HDD coupled with a 16GB SSD to make the boot time faster. So logically, the OS will be booting from the SSD and other files can be stored in the normal HDD. The ultrabook has not compromised on the ports that come with a regular laptops. The device comes with a HDMI, Ethernet, VGA, a USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports in them.

Besides this, the company has also said that the Intel Ivy Bridge processor will also be available as an added option for this ultrabook when it goes on sale later this month. The ultrabook will be available for purchase from the Toshiba online stores starting June 24th. This definitely looks like a worth gadget. But let’s wait to get out hands-on with it in the coming weeks!
