Sony Tablet P starts receiving the Android 4.0.3 update after so many delays!

Sony has now started pushing the much delayed update for their Tablet device, the Sony Tablet P. The Android 4.0.3 update is now rolling out to all the Sony Tablet P owners across the globe.

Sony promised to push the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update to Tablet P users back in April, but due to various reasons, it got delayed to the last week of May. But then, the delay extended till June. But starting today, the Tablet P owners would start receiving the update across the world, and the users will be able to enjoy all the features that Ice Cream Sandwich brings to the users.

The Tablet P originally shipped with Honeycomb, but stayed dormant for so long. The new update brings some cool new apps, called Smart Apps, which brings a lot of user centric features like enhanced browsing experience, panaromic photography in camera app, iOS like quick access to camera from the lock screen and much more.
