Microsoft has updated their own iOS app for SkyDrive today with the new iPad’s Retina Display Support, Multiple photo uploads feature, more sharing options and improved file handling options.
Microsoft released Skydrive for iOS a few months back, when they upgraded their cloud storage system to go premium. And now, the company has updated the iOS app to support iPad and its new Retina Display. You can now bulk upload images on SkyDrive from your iPhone or iPad. The app now lets you move, rename or create folders on the iOS device and the much needed, single file sharing option has also come along with this update.
SkyDrive now offers 25GB of free storage space on the cloud for users who have been using it for a long time now. But for the new users, they are given a 5GB of storage space. The SkyDrive for iOS is available as a free download from the iOS app store.
