Looks like Microsoft has got something big for us on Monday. The company has sent out invited to the press for a special event to brief about something huge.
Microsoft has been pushing hard to make people believe that Windows 8 has got the potential to fly over Windows 7. And in such a move, the company has invited the press for a special event in Los Angeles on June 18th, promising for a big announcement from the company.
We don’t have any additional information about the event, but some of the analysts are predicting that the announcement might be about the Windows RT and Windows Enterprise editions of their next generation OS. Moreover, the analysts also predict that the Yammer acquisition is not yet over, and the announcement will not come out about the new acquisition.
Here’s what you could expect the company to come out with. They might announce Microsoft Office for iPad or Windows RT with the features that it was missing and also, Windows 8 for the enterprise with some added features and non-metro UI. This event would not concentrate on the next version of Windows Phone, since the event for Windows Phone is happening the following week.
We’ll be there to bring you all the news from the event. We don’t think we’ll be able to live blog the event! Stay tuned!
