LG launches Optimus 3D Max and Optimus L7! Brings 3D Viewing without Glasses to users!

LG India has launched the much awaited Optimus 3D Max and Optimus L7 smartphones for Rs. 30,500 and Rs. 19,900 respectively. Both the devices are now available for purchase from the authorized retailers starting today!

LG India has been doing some brilliant job in marketing and launching the products that has got some potential in the India market, and on these lines, the company has unveiled the Optimus 3D Max and Optimus L7 to the Indian customers are a pretty good price point. LG claims that these devices are beautifully designed and also combines the power of incredible performance, which holds true.

The special thing about Optimus 3D Max that we like is the ability to view 3D videos and other 3D media content without needing a special 3D glass. The new device comes with a 4.3-inch high resolution screen which a NOVA display technology, and also it is powered by a 1.2GHz OMAP4430 processor which is backed up by a 1GB of RAM, which looks to pose a definite competition to other smartphones that also come with similar configuration. Talking about these new devices, Mr. Soon Kwon, President of South West Asia Region and MD LG India says:

“LG Optimus 3D MAX is a natural and powerful evolution of LG Optimus 3D. Building on the phenomenal success of the original Optimus 3D, we are proud to unveil this ultimate Smartphone. In 2012, we will take LG’s leadership in Speed, Screen and Content to a whole new level. With the Optimus 3D MAX, we want to set new standards of quality viewing and powerful performance on mobiles packed in a slim and modern design”.

But the only downside is that the devices run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and not the latest Ice Cream Sandwich. But we hope that the company is bringing ICS updates to these devices pretty soon, which gives hope for the future of the device in India.

The Optimus L7 does not come with a 3D technology, but still has got the configuration that a mid-level smartphone would have, which is not bad. The device comes with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, backed up by a GB of RAM, which again is good for the price range the company has set for the device.

LG has also got their own custom ROM built for these devices to support some TV streaming capabilities and also to bring some enhancements to the screens that would project 3D media. Overall, both these devices have been pretty good, and LG expects to get some marketshare with these two devices.
