Karbonn Mobile recently launched a new Android (v2.3.6 Gingerbread) phone, A9, as an entry level phone in the Indian market. Sporting a 5-megapixel HD camera and a 1GHz processor, posing some challenges to its competitors like Samsung, LG and other Android device makes in India. A9 Sports a new voice assistant application, just like how Micromax launched Ninja A50 with an Indian version of Siri: Aisha (Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant) feature. The dual SIM phone comes with 3.8-inch capacitive touch screen display and also has a VGA secondary camera.
It’s only available now in Ivory White colour and looks wise it is great. For a Rs. 9,000 phone the 5-megapixel HD camera is combined with autofocus and flash which works great in low light as well. The Karbonn A9 comes with an inbuilt Stereo FM radio receiver. It has a multi format audio video player integrated as well.
It comes with 1GB internal memory which can be extended to 32GB through a micro SD slot. The most amazing part which separates it from its competitors is 512MB of RAM module which is more than enough to full fledged multi-tasking.
The only drawback is that, the company services and trust. Its body is made of rugged hardware is great and price is less as compared to its qualities. I would say if you are an android lover and can’t afford those high-end phones, go for it.
