Finally, the official Instapaper client for the Android smartphones are here for download from the Google Play Store for $2.99.
The Android users have been waiting for a dedicated client for Instapaper on their device, but now, the wait just got over. The creator of Instapaper, Marco Arment has contracted the new Android app to a company called Mobelux. Mobelux actually makes both iPhone and Android clients for some of the big names like Tumblr.
The Instapaper for Android is now available for download from the Google Play Store for $2.99, and resembles a lot with the iOS version of the application. Right after I purchased the Android version, I was impressed with the classy UI that came along with the app, and also with the ease of navigation between saved articles. The Verge has done an in-depth look into this new App for Android, and if you are sold with the look and the features that it offers, you can hit the Download link right at the bottom of this page and grab a copy for yourself on your Android smartphone.
You can run Instapaper on your Android device only if you run Android 2.2 or above and also, the app does not seem to be working good on the tablets.
